Had a fantastic time with friends! The rooms were spacious, and we loved the giant breakfast spread each morning. The property is surrounded by nature, making it perfect for a quiet escape. We easily walked to the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace, both stunning sights worth visiting.
However, we found out the location is on a steep hill. Walking back after a long day can be a bit of a workout, so be prepared for that!

The location is brilliant, just a short walk to major attractions. The outdoor space is lovely and private. Great to have 24/7 coffee and tea nearby!
The breakfast starts a bit late for early risers like me. I thought I was being punished! And did I mention the confusing signage? I nearly got lost a few times!

the breakfast was almost lovely, but cold coffee? Really? the staff seemed to think it was acceptable to sit family at my table without asking. I heaved a pathetic sigh when the overly squeaky bed reminded me every time I moved that I deserved a better stay. I almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

charming historical mansion, stunning views of the Moorish castle, comfortable outdoor patio
Very small windows that feel prison-like!!! Shower curtain leaking water everywhere!!! The noise from neighboring rooms can make sleep challenging!!! Could use more attention in terms of cleanliness and upkeep of older furniture!!!

Staying at Chalet Relogio Guesthouse was like stepping into a fairy tale. The rustic accommodation offered a spectacular view of Sintra's Valley and the Moorish castle. Waking up each morning to a lovely breakfast that included fresh fruits and delicious pastries was the cherry on top of this magical experience. Plus, it’s only 700 meters from the historical center of Sintra.
Noisy stairs.

Couples seeking charm and tranquility
The breakfast spread was scrumptious , with fresh pastries and fruits that filled us up each morning. We even got tips from the manager which led us to some fine sites nearby, including a amazing hike with views that were to die for.
It wasn't exactly wallet-friendly, but worth every penny.

Cozy stay with a tasty breakfast
Had a lovely time here! The breakfast was a treat—a bagged meal with sandwiches, juice, and yummy cake was waiting for us. The staff was super friendly and helped out when we needed a snack. Only downer was the room got pretty warm since there was no fan, but we managed.

The beautiful, historic building captivates with its charming architecture and stunning views of the Moorish castle. The spacious room offered both comfort and elegance, along with a delightful breakfast featuring home-made jams and a variety of options. However, climbing the steep hill back can be a workout, and the late breakfast start frustrated early risers like me. Also, keep in mind that parking is only available with cash—just a small inconvenience in an otherwise enchanting experience.
